The HTC S740 is the newest quad-band GSM device from HTC, the unit also features dual-band 900/2100mhz 3G data for European networks, plus a 3.2 mega pixel camera, a WiFi 802.11 b/g connection and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. The S740 also features Windows Mobile 6.1 professional with a Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset that runs at 528mhz processor. Throw in a 2.4 inch TFT-LCD QVGA screen along with audio support for AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, QCP, MP3, WMA, and WAV files and WAP 2.0, HTML, and XHTML internet browsing. The unit also features built-in GPS with Assisted GSP (A-GPS) and an expandable 8GB microSDHC.

The device however lacks a touch screen meaning no TouchFlo 3D on the device that greatly represents the Touch Diamond.
