Alltel Expands Location Based Services |

Alltel Wireless has announced the expansion of their location based services (LBS). The expansion will allow Alltel users to roam outside of their current network, and will be available to Alltel users who are using GPS equipped cellular handsets which will now be able to access the TeleNav GPS Navigator application.
The best part of the Alltel expansion? Wireless customers will not have to pay extra montly fees for the service, however, standard roaming charges will still apply. The expansion will help the reach of several Alltel location based applications, including, Alltel Navigation, Where, and Axcess Family Finder.
