Sending text messages has become cheaper over the last several years, thanks to the addition of bundled text messaging plans, while non-bundled users have watched the cost of sending a message skyrocket. It appears that trend is not about to end.

AT&T Wireless has announced that they will increase the cost of sending a text message for non-bundled users. The new cost will come in at $.30 per MMS message, up from $.25 per text message before the hike. The move has been expected for some time as carriers continue to focus more on their text packages, rather than per text rates.
