Blackberry 8820 with WiFi{mosgoogle right}  Blackberry is finally jumping onboard the Wifi bandwagon with the release of the Blackberry 8820, Research in Motions first wireless device to feature a wireless connection. The phone will feature the 802.11 a/b/g connection that have become ultra popular on most pocket pc devices being produced. The connection will support WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption and a number of VPN clients. However the phone does still lack 3G access.

The phone will also have Quad-Band (850/900/1800/1900) connectivity with a 320x240 display, and will come packed with a GPS program that includes Blackberry maps. Along with those functions will be a micro SD slot with up to 2gb of storage with an SDHC capability that can hold up to 32gb of memory.
