Our friends at the Open Handset Alliance have debuted the Google Android Operating system, and it looks like a formidable Operating System. The demo video showed the OS capabilities of Android, including integration with calling features and the ability to access 3G data networks.

In the short week since Google announced they would release their Software Developers Kit (SDK) for programmers, they have also released a demo of the new Adroid Operating System through the Open Handset Alliance. I must admit the demo for the new OS looks amazing, not only is the interface nice and clean, and seemingly easy to follow, but the 3G connectivity moves flawlessly, and the new Internet browser is going to give the iPhone a run for its money, especially with the backing of high speed data connections.

Several programs were testing using the operating system, including google maps and internet browsing, while a demo of the graphics capabilities are also shown to be excellent. I'm excited to make a call on this device, and to play video games, something I almost never do on my mobile devices.  With full integration capabilities being shown in small amounts on the demo video, it makes me wish Google Android was already on the market.

I suggest everyone take a look at the demo video and judge for themselves: Google Android
