Monday, August 18th 2008 --  The FCC website today gave some insight into the new HTC Dream. The pocket pc will feature the Google Android Mobile Operating System, along with Quad-Band GSM functionality (850/900/1800/1900mhz). The unit will also ship with Bluetooth and WiFi and will support the 1700mhz AWS band, a move that allows T-Mobile customers the ability to function via the 3G data network. The arrival of 1700mhz also helps confirm recent rumors that T-Mobile will begin offering the device this October.

We also know that the device will feature a built-in camera, although the quality of the camera is not yet known, while the HTC Dream will also ship with a MicroSDHC expandable memory card slot.

No expected date or pricing has been announced at this point.
