Details for the HTC S740 have been leaked over at HTC Europe. It looks like the device will feature a 2.4 inch display with a sliding qwerty keyboard. The unit basically looks like an HTC Touch Diamond with a sliding qwerty keyboard thrown in for good measure. It also appears that the unit will feature WiFi 802.11 b/g internet access along with 3G data abilities. The unit will also feature a 3.2 mega pixel camera along with MicroSDHC expandable memory capabilities. The Unit will also feature 256MB RAM and 256MB SDRAM along with Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. Ringtone support shouldn't be an issue either with AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, QCP, MP3, WMA, and WAV fully supported. Throw in GPS with Assisted GPS and its easy to see how this phone can appeal to the HTC Diamond fans and to new HTC users alike. Unforutnately users will have to consider that the S740 will not feature HTC TouchFlo 3D technology or a touchscreen. However it will feature Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional framework.
