Tuesday, July 1st 2008 -- The internet has been buzzing with talk of the HTC Touch Pro, a sleek device that features Quad-Band GSM Capabilities and a host of popular Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Pocket PC features. Now those talks can also include CDMA banter, as HTC has announced that the device will also be available in a CDMA version, although no carrier has been announced yet for the HTC Touch Pro CDMA.

The CDMA version of the HTC Touch Pro will differ very little from the GSM version. Both devices will feature a 2.8 inch touch screen display with HTC Touch Flo 3D, and both units will also feature the same 3.2 mega pixel camera along with Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo bluetooth streaming, and a MicroSDHC expandable memory card good for up to 8GB of additional storage space. Both the GSM Touch Pro and the CDMA Touch Pro will also feature a sliding qwerty keyboard and GPS capabilities with Assisted GPS (A-GPS) added for good measure.

The biggest difference so far appears to be the lack of 3G internet support on the CDMA version, its not yet known whether EVDO speeds will be utilized on the device. Talks have also shown that the device may not feature the front side VGA video conferencing camera that is currently available on the unlocked GSM version of the device.\
