The iPhone 3G has been plagued with dropped call issues since it went on sale, and now the troubles for device continue with the announcement this week that Apple was recalling the Ultracompact USB Adapter that's included with each new Apple iPhone 3G and is used for charging the iPhone 3G.

Apple is stating that the faulty unit can cause the prongs on the unit to break off and become lodged in the wall which can cause the users to receive an electrical show.

While no injuried have occured we're encouraging everyone to check out the Apple Exchange Program for details on how to receive a new charging adapter.
