Apple to Release 3G iPhone Device in 2008

It's official, AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson  told reporters that Apple Computers, will begin offering a 3G version of their Apple iPhone sometime in 2008. Specifics in regards to the pricing and exact release date are not yet known.

He also noted that 3G chipsets require more power and therefore there are still some unanswered questions in terms of the device, such as which frequencies the 3G radio on the device will operate on, or if the device will be featured on version 1 of the device, or future iPhone releases.
