The Apple Iphone may finally be hitting its stride, days after announcing a $100 price cut, and the discontinuation of their 4gb models, Apple Computers has watched sales of the highly advertised and often hacked phone triple.

{mosgoogle left}The current surge in sales has led to sales of nearly 27,000 Iphones per day, over the last 4 days. Those numbers are much higher than the average 9,000 iPhones sold per day in the months leading up to the price cut.

Industry experts are now putting iPhone sales estimates at nearly 1.25 million units by the end of the quarter, a number much higher than the original 594,000 units estimated before the price cuts occured.
