Users of the ultra popular LG Voyager will finally have their complaints answers, after several performance issues surfaced involving the cellular device, both Verizon and LG have begun offering a fireware update to fix the phones major performance related hiccups.
The fireware upgrade for the LG Voyager is available through both LG and Verizon Wireless, the sole cellular provider of the new handset. The fireware upgrade promises to fix issues relating to battery life, better support for Bluetooth related applications, an improved HTML support package, and fixes to several major Verizon offerings including the V Cast Music store which has been so heavily touted in commericials for the device, as well as a fix to the devices lock function. The fireware update unfortunately can not be done over the air, and the option to flash the drive to the new fireware set is not available at all Verizon Wireless stores and resellers.
