Wednesday, June 11th 2008 -- Verizon Wireless will receiving three new devices this summer according to a press release by the company today. The new devices produced by LG will feature three new body designs, while one of the three devices will be the new and long awaited Chocolate 3 device.
The First device being offered by LG is the LG Dare, a nice touch style device in a candy bar style design. The LG Dare will feature a 3.2 mega pixel camera that also offers the ability to video record your favorite moments. The Dar will also have its own onboard photo editing software which will come in handy if you run a blog, or if you want to share your photos on your favorite social networking sites which will also be supported by the LG Dare. The device will also feature high speed internet access via the Verizon EVDO network and access to the V Cast services offered by Verizon Wireless.
The next device known as the LG Decoy is a slider phone that offers a removable Bluetooth headset that was incorporated into the device, the unit also feaures a five-way joystick for all of your navigational purposes, which will come in handy thanks to the devices built-in GPS hardware and GPS Maps software. According to Verizon Wireless the LG Decoy will be available June 16th.
Finally there is the Chocolate 3. Building on the success of the LG Chocolate series the new LG Chocolate 3 will feature music controls that are accessible on the outside of the device, a move that will afford the ability to change your music selections and control the overall music capabilities of the device when the unit is in the closed position. The LG Chocolate 3 will also feature 1GB of internal memory with an upgradeable MicroSDHC card slot that can handle up to 8GB currently. The LG Chocolate 3 will also feature Bluetooth connectivity, an FM Transmitter which can be accessed when your stereo wired headset is plugged in to act as an antenna and a 2 Mega pixel Camera. The Chocolate 3 will be available in July.
