 It is well known
that the LG Banter is essentially Alltel's answer to the Rumor 2.
This means that the device will definitely see a lot of use in
generating a large number of text messages from an overall cheap
price. The extent of how cheap is that the phone will be only $19.99,
with a contract and rebate. That is a good $30 less than what Sprint
wants for the device. One might think that this is Verizon going
after their rival, but it is being released through Alltel, so who
knows?
Features of the
device include a basic QWERTY slider in a device that is also
equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera, along with a micro SD
slot to store your pictures. There are also a Bluetooth connection,
as long as customizable front and back plates. This is just like the
Rumor 2. It is on sale now in the brick and mortar store. So if you
want a dirt cheap phone for the purpose of sending plenty of text
messages, then the LG Banter fro $20 is the way to go.
