collaboration among issuers, mobile operators and technology providers to deliver the most intuitive and integrated consumer experience across a range
of new customer services.

Michael Mullagn, Vivotech's Chief Executive officer goes on to state in the Motorola press release,  "ViVOtech creates more value for financial institutions and retailers by enabling the electronic payment transaction process," Our platform is transforming the way consumers spend money, make payments and purchases -- making it so simple that any mobile phone user can securely and easily buy items with a simple wave of the mobile device at one of our NFC-powered contactless readers."

The platform essentially allows users to purchase items at close range Debit machines, ATM's and Kiosk's. Users can also receive coupons and promotions directly to their mobile devices, those services can be geocached to a particular location, ensuring coupons and promotions are only sent when the user is within reach of the retailers location. The software solution also allows user to check in at airports and hotels with nothing more than the use of their Mobile device.
