Adobe Will Offer Free Mobile Flash License Use |
May 03, 2008 -- In an attempt to create a larger mobile device presence Adobe has announced plans to offer their Adobe Flash software as a free license to mobile developers.
To accomplish their further reach Adobe has launched an initiative they are calling the Open Screen Project. The OPS is comprised of both handset manufacturers and hardware developers and includes the likes of Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony
Ericsson, as well as chip makers Intel and Qualcomm.
Adobe is hoping that their new program will help extend their reach while creating a more seemless and overall improved internet experience for mobility users.
