Saturday, July 12th 2008 -- The Nokia hype machine is apparently working overtime when it comes to the Nokia N96. Recently the OEM has annoucned that a limited edition packaging will be available for the N96. There is one catch however, only 96 of the devices will be available, and the cost of obtaining the limited edition packaing will not be cheap.

According to Nokia the 96 devices will come with a price tag of €759 ($1,206). While the cost is hefty it turns out the money raised will go to a good cause, Nokia will donate the proceeds to the World Wildlife Foundation, who will in turn use the money to elp save the Red Pandas in Nepal.

While the phone doesn't appear to feature anything special the box will be shipped in an ash tree box with a silk bad and an 8GB MicroSDHC card.
