Palm Centro Arrives Unlocked For $299

Monday - June 23 2008 -- If you purchase Grey Market smartphone you've probably seen the Unlocked Black Colored version of the Palm Centro, an unofficial release here in the United States. Now it has come to light that Palm has decided to release an official unlocked version in white color, the unit will feature the same Quad-Band GSM capabilities with one significant add-on.

The big add-on for the new white unlocked Palm Centro is the addition of Googe Maps for Mobile, including the ability to use the "My Location" functionality of the mapping software. The program is also available directly from Google.
