Qualcomm Buys Xiam Technologies

Qualcomm has announced the aquistion of Xiam Technologies, a company who's main product "My Personal Offer System" offers targeted advertising to end users.

With the addition of Xiam Technologies Qualcomm will not have a system in place that allows them to more accurately target endusers, focusing on targeted content advertisements. The Xiam system uses MPOS demographic information to provide very specific offers to customers. Their system is largely based on contextual and behavioral profiling on a user-to-user basis.

The aquisition of Xiam comes with a price tag of $32 million.
