RIM Sues Motorola Over Excessive Royalty Demands on Patents

Research in Motion (RIM), creators of the Blackberry handheld device and Blackberry Connect Email services have sued Motorola over what they believe to be "Excessive Royalty demands" on patents owned by Motorola.

RIM filed the suit on February 16th, 2008 with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the suit claims that the exhorbit rates being requested will lead to an anticompetitive environment.
