Monday, July 7th 2008 -- Rogers Wireless customers are not happy with the price plans rolled out by the Canadian Telecom last week. In fact the pricing has generated such a stir that an online petition to lower the pricing has generated tens of thousands of signatures. Unfortunately for Rogers Wireless customers the petition will more than likely have little affect according to online sources.
The Rogers Wireless iPhone 3G controversy started last week when the company announced that the cheapest plan would start at $60 with only 150 minutes. Rogers also announced that the company would not offer an unlimited data package for the device.
While rumors have not been confirmed it is also believed that the muck up over pricing has forced Apple headquarters to send most of the Canada reserved iPhones to Europe, leaving many Canadian retails with less than a dozen units each.
