Samsung M8800 Pixon Shows Off 8MP Camera

The Samsung M8800 Pixon will be the second 8MP camera phone to feature a Touchscreen, and the devices excellent design definitely adds to the devices allure.

The Quad-Band GSM device will also feature tri-band 3G data connections via HSDPA abilities, while coming in at a very manageable size of 107.9 x 54.6 x 13.8mm and a weight of 109 grams.

The M8800 will also feature a 3.2 inch display that outputs at 240 x 400 pixels, while also offering GPS capabilities, FM Radio wih RDS, and a MicroSDHC card slot.  The unit also features a built-in accelerometer, and video recording with WVGA 740 x 480 pixels output up to 30fps.

Adding to the devices video capabilities the Samsung Pixon will also feature DivX playback support, SRS (Surround Sound System) Virtual 5.1 Channel, and many more popular high end features.

The Samsung M8800 Pixon is expected in mid-October with a cost of $880 USD.
