 A new music phone for Verizon was
revealed a while ago, known as the SCH-U490. Well itwould seem to
have received a name that is a little more catchier and easier to
remember. The official name of the device will be the Samsung Trace,
and spring time phone buyers will be the first to see the device on
Verizon's shelves. It used to be that all we had to look at for the
device were some FCC images, but now there are some leaked slides
describing the phone, and showing off its features.
The device is a slider style phone and
will be equipped with a navigation style touch screen. Inside the
phone is a combined 1GB + 128MB memory for music and apps,
respectively, and expandable via micro SD up to an additional 16GB.
Listening to music will be easy with the option of either a 3.5 mm
headphone jack or the installed Bang and Olufsen speaker. Other
features include a 1.3 mega pixel camera and a mobile web bowser. Key
