Friday, June 13th 2008 -- Sony Ericsson is raising the bar with their new C905 Cybershot series mobile phone. The device with its Slider mechanism may look similar to the Nokia N95 8GB, but the camera on the C905 doesn't even share the same 5mp. In fact the C905 camera exceeds the 5MP barrier, reaching out to customers with a very impressive 8MP camera.

The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot now only offers an impressive 8MP camera, the unit also features auto focus as would be expect, image stabilizationSony Ericsson C905 Intro with photo flash, and face detection for easy photo taking capabilities, and a feature for contrast correction called "Smart Contrast"

 


The Sony Ericsson C905 also features geotagging capabilities that go hand in hand with the GPS hardware that comes built-in to the Sony Ericsson Cell Phone. The C905 also features an acceleromoter for screen auto rotation and a TV-out port.


The device itself comes equipped with a 2.4-inch screen that features a QVGA TFT Display. The unit is also the first released Mobile Phone from Sony Ericsson that features WiFi capabilities.

 

The Sony Ericsson C905 will also feature UMTS/HSDPA 3G technology in certain parts of the world including North America.

 

The approx. size of the device is 104mm by 49mm by 18mm and comes in at a weight of approx. 136 grams.

 

The Sony Ericsson C905 will be available in several colors including Copper Gold, Night Black , and Ice Silver and is expected to be released between September 2008 - December 2008.
