The main advantage that will be immediately noticed with the upgrade is the faster download and upload speeds offered by the improved Rev. A network. Under the new specifications speeds increase to  between 600kbps and 1,400kbps while upload speeds will reach somewhere between 350kbps and 500 kbps on the device.

Recently the he Rev. A network has been used solely by laptop cards, the Mogul will be the first cellular device on the Sprint Wireless network to receive the software upgrade. Not wanting to end their HTC has announced that the new update will also provide GPS abilities which can be used in conjunction with the Sprint GPS mapping solution which works much like popular mapping programs such as TomTom software which provides turn-by-turn directions and points of interest.

The software update is available immediately from HTC and can be downloaded from your computer directly to your mobile device.
