Sprint Acquistion by Deutsche Telekom Under Consideration |
May 04, 2008 -- German Telecommunication company Deutsche Telekom is looking to acquire Sprint Nextel, and while the deal is still in the early stages, and nothing is set in stone, it would create an even larger percentage of the industry for the company that currently owns T-Mobile USA.
The move would not only give control of the $22 billion dollar Sprint Nextel to the T-Mobile parent company, but would also create the largest telecommunications company in the United States when the companies are placed within the same holdings.
