Under the agreement the cable companies involved will have the option of selling Xohm WiMax services to their cable customers for use on Clearwire. While the focus has remained on cellular device use, its also important to realize that the move will also allow for access to laptop and other electronic device users.
Clearwire will officially form sometime in Q4 2008, while plans for a full release outside of the existing test market base have yet to be solidified.
