Sprint Wireless has announced that customers using their Sprint Music download service will no longer receive a second copy of their songs for play on their PC Desktops.  According to the Sprint Wireless Music website  "Beginning October 15, 2008, Sprint Music Store purchases will no longer include a second PC copy. All Sprint Music Store purchases will continue to be conveniently delivered directly to your Sprint handset."

The application for downloading will still allow customers to backup their songs to their PC but those songs will not have transfer capabilities to other mobile handsets.
