Several months ago we reported that Sprint Wireless was looking to raise capital through the sale of their wireless tower infrastructure which they would then lease back from the purchasing company. Today Sprint has announced that they have successfully sold their towers to TowerCo for $670 million dollars while also securing a lease agreement that will allow the company to continue offering cellular service to their customer base.
