T-Mobile Launches 3G Network Next Week |

May 02, 2008 -- T-Mobile will attempt to play catch up to AT&T Wireless next week when they launch their much anticipated W-CDMA network, a move that will finally give T-Mobile users access to a high speed 3G data connection
T-Mobile has yet to announce which markets will initially receive the 3G connection, but its a safe bet that it will encompass large metropolitan areas to begin with. The company did mention however that the network will support both Voice and data connections and that further announcements can be expected in regards to who can use the 1700mhz AWS Spectrum that T-Mobile purchased from teh FCC all the way back in 2006.
