T-Mobile Plans 21 3G Markets By End Of October

T-Mobile Customers in 21 markets will have reason to rejoice by the end of October. That's the date given by T-Mobile for the launch of their new 3G technology in the remaining 8 of 21 cities to receive their new AWS 3G data connections.  

Currently T-Mobile is offering their 3G technology in 13 cities which gives the company approx. 6 weeks to launch the remaining 8 cities currently on their roster. 

The GSM telecom has also announced plans to launch another 7 markets before the end of the year, with "meaningful expansion to additional customers and markets through 2009."

T-Mobile execs have also said that they are "working closely and effectively together" with the Justic, Defense and Commerce Departments to free up AWS spectrum which is needed to grow and speed up their 3G data networks.
