T-Mobile will follow in the footsteps of Verizon and AT&T and begin offering their contract customers a prorated fee when they choose to end their contract before it has completely expired, a practice that has continued to grow throughout the industry and now includes most of North America's largest cellular providers.

The move has come surprisingly late for a company that has continuosly ranked as the number 1 service provider for their customers over the last several years. All that is known currently is that the proration will be based on the remaining time left on a customers contract.
