This week Velocity Mobile once again announced a new pocket pc device the Velocity Mobile 83. While we are still unsure how Velocity names their devices, we are sure about the specs on the new touch screen based device.

First the Mobile 83 will feature Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, Edge and GRPS Capabilities, although 3G access will not be available, GPS, WiFi, and a pretty standard 2.8 inch screen.  The unit will also feature dual slot MicroSD card areas which is pretty rare on mobile devices at this point (although single MicroSDHC card slots are able to store up to 32GB which seems like plenty of space to us).

The device is set to cost around $500, but has yet to impress us with the paltry features.

You can look for the device this November, or you can search for a new HTC device instead.
