As we reported last week Verizon Wireless has officially announced their new month to month plans with no contract.  The new plans include no early termination fees, but also require customers to bring their own devices into the mix or purchase a Verizon capable CDMA phone at full cost, which can be quite costly. 

Current Verizon customers will of course have to live out their contract before they can jump ship to the month to month calling program.
