AT&T Offering Free HotSpot WiFi For iPhone And Select Blackberry Customers

With over 17,000 HotSpot locations throughout the U.S. AT&T Wireless has announced free use of those networks for iPhone users and select Blackberry device customers.  The WiFi can be used at popular locations that include Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and thousands of other locations throughout the states.

AT&T Wireless Expands International Coverage And Data Plans

Monday, August 4th 2008 -- AT&T Wireless announced today that they have expanded their International calling services to include more voice and data coverage. AT&T has also reduced some of the international roaming charges paid by customers when travelling.

 

Under the new plan smartphone customers can purchases up to 50MB of data in 67 countries for $60 per month. For laptop users the price jumps to 5GB of US data combined with 200MB of international data for $230 a month.
