Monday, August 4th 2008 -- AT&T Wireless announced today that they have expanded their International calling services to include more voice and data coverage. AT&T has also reduced some of the international roaming charges paid by customers when travelling.

Under the new plan smartphone customers can purchases up to 50MB of data in 67 countries for $60 per month. For laptop users the price jumps to 5GB of US data combined with 200MB of international data for $230 a month.

Tuesday, July 22nd 2008 -- Users of AT&T Navigator can now extend their devices GPS capabilities beyond the United States thanks to AT&T Navigator Global Edition the first GPS Navigation system offered by a U.S. Wireless Carrier that allows for GPS navigation outside of the United States. The unit will also support multiple languages and be featured on an impressive set of devices.

Sending text messages has become cheaper over the last several years, thanks to the addition of bundled text messaging plans, while non-bundled users have watched the cost of sending a message skyrocket. It appears that trend is not about to end.
