In a press release today Samsung announced plans to bring several TouchWiz based interface devices to the United States. The first TouchWiz devices are expected before the end of 2008 with several more devices featured in 2009.

5MP camera phones are becoming the new standard from what we can tell, and the Samsung i7110 is no exception. This new Symbian based Samsung device not only features a 5MP option, it also features autofocus and an LED Flash.

Throw in a quad-band GSM/EDGE configuration that features 3G via the 900/2100mhz dual band radios and the device is already pretty impressive. However, the Samsung i7110 also offers WiFi, GPS, and an FM Radio transmitter with RDS.

The Samsung T109 will be arriving for T-Mobile customers in the near future.  The clamshell cell phone according to recent specs will feature a dual-band 850/1900Mhz GSM radio with Edge calling capabilities.  The until will also be able to take advantage of T-mobile T-Zones for internet browsing and will also ship with messaging abilities and a speakerphone function.

The entry level Samsung T109 will be free after receiving rebates from the signing of a two year agreement

The Quad-Band GSM device will also feature tri-band 3G data connections via HSDPA abilities, while coming in at a very manageable size of 107.9 x 54.6 x 13.8mm and a weight of 109 grams.

The M8800 will also feature a 3.2 inch display that outputs at 240 x 400 pixels, while also offering GPS capabilities, FM Radio wih RDS, and a MicroSDHC car

The Samsung A837 has just landed at AT&T Wireless, and the AT&T Rugby name seems fitting for a device that meets military grade for dust, water and shock resistance.  And while the device may not be the greatest looking cell phone on the market it does ship with 3G data connecitivity, push-to-talk abilities and a 1.3 mega pixel camera.

The device runs at a cost of about $130 with a 2 year contract.

This week Sprint Wireless showed off three new devices for their new lineup. The new Samsung phones will feature an interface named "One Click." The One Click UI will give Sprint users access to the companies Music Store, Web Surfing and Sprint Navigation and Texting, among the devices other offerings.

Its been a great week for cell phone releases, and Samsung has kept the streak going today when they released details about the Samsung A137, a flip phone that offers Dual Band North America connectivity via the GSM/GPRS 850/1900mhz frequencies.  

The device will also feature Bluetooth, while also offering MP3 file support along with SMS, Email and Instant Messaging capabilities.  The unit will also be branded with the AT&T logo.

Samsung's A237 flip phone will be sold by AT&T Wireless according to information released on Samsung's official website today.  The Samsung A237 will feature Quad-Band GSM (850/900/1800/1900mhz) capabilities, along with Bluetooth, a VGA camera, and dedicated messaging keys, and it will ship with two color choices, blue and red.  The A237 will also feature Mobile Email and Edge Internet connectivity along with Java Support and a speaker phone. Not bad for an entry level Cell phone.

The IFA in Berlin was abuzz this week thanks in large part to Samsung's Annoucement that included 12 new mobile devices. Each which offer their own set of options and builds, and most which fall towards the low end and prepaid market side of devices.

Thursday, July 17th 2008 -- The newest flip phone from Samsung the Samsung A227 started showing up on the AT&T business site yester. While the device is a basic clamshell design, it does feature Quad-band GSM/EDGE frequencies and a full HTML browser which should prove useful to business owners. The Device also supports mobile emial, SMS and MMS messaging, features an MP3 Player, and only costs $10 with a new two year contract.

Tuesday, July 15 2008 -- While the unit has not been "officially" announced yet, it appears the Samsung i907 has passed FCC approval. The i907 is the U.S. alternative to the recently announced Samsung Omnia i900. The approved U.S. version will ship with the dual band WCDMA 850/1900mhz frequencies and will more than likely feature Quad-Band GSM connectivity, meaning lots of fast access on the AT&T HSDPA network.

Monday, July 7th 2008 -- It may not be the best looking device built by Samsung, but the Samsung i200 is a very capable device. The unit features Windows Mobile 6.1, 3G internet access via HSDPA 2100, and a candy bar style build that's meant for business users while providing at your finger tips accessibility.

The unit isn't available in the U.S. yet, while the UK price of €399 Euros, will put the unit at about $625 with today's exchange rate.

Sunday, June 22nd 2008 -- The ultra popular Samsung Blackjack series is about to get an upgrade. The new version, the Samsung Blackjack III is going to feature some nice and needed updates, however no pricing or release dates have been given by AT&T or Samsung at this time.

Monday, June 16th 2008 -- The Samsung T229 is headed to T-Mobile as an entry-level flip style cell phone. The device will ship with an entry level camera, a tri-band GSM frequency output, and an entry level price tag that should satisfy any cellular user looking for basic cell phone capabilities.
