The T-Mobile G1 Google Android phone isn't shipping until tomorrow, but we were lucky enough to get our hands on the device before its official launch date.

If you wanted to quench any doubt that the G1 Google Android phone for T-Mobile would be coming to a store near you, T-Mobile has answered your request. Today the G1 Official website launched...well sort of.  It turns out that the site located here is up but won't launched with official details until 10:30am September 23rd. Sure that's only 12 hours away from the time of this article, but needless to say we are still restless. Check back tomorrow for the full details on the G1.

T-Mobile Customers in 21 markets will have reason to rejoice by the end of October. That's the date given by T-Mobile for the launch of their new 3G technology in the remaining 8 of 21 cities to receive their new AWS 3G data connections.  

Currently T-Mobile is offering their 3G technology in 13 cities which gives the company approx. 6 weeks to launch the remaining 8 cities currently on their roster.

Friday, August 15th 2008 - The New York Times today reported that  sources close to T-Mobile are looking to offer a Google Android based operating system phone as early as October. The HTC produced device will feature a touch screen and a sideways sliding qwerty keyboard. The sources also note that T-Mobile and HTC have yet to confirm the speculation.

Wednesday, August 6th 2008 --  T-Mobile released a press release today announcing the arrival of their 3G data network for users in Las Vegas. The 1700MHz AWS 3G network is available immediately for T-Mobile customers using compatible 1700mhz devices.

Wednesday, July 30th 2008 -- T-Mobile handset users who have purchased 1700mhz AWS compatible units will soon be able to take advantage of 3G data speeds, but only if they live in certain markets, at least when it comes to the initial launch of the new high speed data network.

Thursday, June 26th 2008 -- T-Mobile has finally released details on the Motorola ROKR E8 they will begin carrying on July 7th, 2008. The device features a very nice glossy finish on a candy bar style device.
