If you wanted to quench any doubt that the G1 Google Android phone for T-Mobile would be coming to a store near you, T-Mobile has answered your request. Today the G1 Official website launched...well sort of.  It turns out that the site located here is up but won't launched with official details until 10:30am September 23rd. T-Mobile Plans 21 3G Markets By End Of October

T-Mobile Customers in 21 markets will have reason to rejoice by the end of October. That's the date given by T-Mobile for the launch of their new 3G technology in the remaining 8 of 21 cities to receive their new AWS 3G data connections.

Friday, August 15th 2008 - The New York Times today reported that  sources close to T-Mobile are looking to offer a Google Android based operating system phone as early as October. The HTC produced device will feature a touch screen and a sideways sliding qwerty keyboard. The sources also note that T-Mobile and HTC have yet to confirm the speculation.
