 | Yahoo Begins Offering Free Text Messaging
Yahoo Inc. furthered their mobile web directives today when they announced the ability for users to send text messages to mobile devices, directly from their yahoo mail accounts.
The plan creates a network of sending options, including the ability to choose between email, instant messaging, and text message based applications. The program will be free to Yahoo mail customers, however standard off network text messaging rates will apply to the receiving mobile user.
